Through our Meadfleet Community Fund we received a request from a customer on a Strata development known as Panache in Yorkshire. They nominated Milford Hedgehogs charity to receive a donation to support the amazing work they do.
The charity provide medical aid to unwell hedgehogs, track and monitor their populations and educate the public on how they can support this native species.
We were delighted to provide a donation and our Operations Manager Emlyn Craven and Ecology & Conservation Manager Paul Cassidy met up with Jayne from Milford Hedgehogs along with our customers Andy and Ann who nominated the charity. Andy provided the following feedback:
“Meadfleet have shown me they have a real commitment to improving the local wildlife and environment through the management of the green spaces in our housing estate. They have kindly supported our local hedgehog rescue and are keen to improvement the local environment to provide a safe space for the hedgehogs to thrive.”
