Meadfleet Launch Rebrand

Meadfleet Open Space Management

We are delighted to reveal Meadfleet’s new brand identity. For nearly 30 years, Meadfleet has been a trusted and leading name in the open space management arena, and with our 30th anniversary approaching, we felt now was time to update our brand and website to better reflect our culture and approach to open space management.

Meadfleet are well-known for our award-winning sustainable management of open spaces alongside the fantastic service we provide to customers evidenced by our ‘Excellent’ rating on Trustpilot.  We believe our new brand reflects our values and our work both on the open spaces we manage and with customers and communities, whilst retaining our well-known name.

Our new logo was designed to encapsulate Meadfleet’s expertise, experience, and values. With an oak leaf selected to symbolise longevity, trust and wisdom reflecting the service we provide to developers and residents whilst also representing our commitment to the long-term protection and sustainable care of green spaces on new residential developments.

The new website features a simple navigation for easy access to key information plus a wealth of free resources for customers and communities which we have become known for.  We are proud to say that all images of open space used on the website were taken on Meadfleet developments. There is also plenty of advice and information provided on the forthcoming Biodiversity Net Gain regulations including in our blog and on our dedicated BNG page.

David King, Managing Director, commented “With our 30th anniversary approaching and the introduction of Biodiversity Net Gain, we felt now was a great time to update our brand to better reflect our culture and approach to open space management.  Meadfleet are well-known for the fantastic service we provide to customers demonstrated by our ‘Excellent’ rating on Trustpilot and our award-winning sustainable management of open spaces with a biodiversity-led approach.  We believe our new branding and website demonstrates our values and the work we do both on the open spaces we manage and with customers and communities.

I am proud that all the open space photos on our website were taken on Meadfleet managed areas, with no stock photos utilised, demonstrating to developers the care we take of their developments. For our 40,000+ residents there are our exciting competitions, giveaways, and initiatives for them to join in. We will be adding more to these in the coming weeks and months alongside more news of our Meadfleet Academy which inspires the next generation with a particular focus on biodiversity.”

With Biodiversity Net Gain law coming in November, an experienced, long-term approach to open space management will be more vital than ever to fulfil the 30+ year BNG covenant. Meadfleet are looking forward to supporting existing and new developer partners through these changes and continuing to provide a sustainable legacy of open spaces that their customers and communities will enjoy.

Meadfleet are a leading sustainable land-adopting management company. We have in-house ecologists with expertise in the BNG metric and are already applying the principles of Biodiversity Net Gain across our existing open space portfolio in England and Wales. Established in 1995, Meadfleet manage over 330 developments and 42,000 residential properties in our portfolio, with a strong balance sheet.

Meadfleet offers management of Biodiversity Net Gain delivery both on a managed development and on offsite areas, either via customer contributions or commuted sums. Our adoption model relieves developers of ongoing liabilities and management costs.

The Meadfleet model removes onerous liabilities from homeowners yet still encourages their input and engagement into the management of their local environment.  We are committed to providing an excellent service to residents as demonstrated by our Excellent rating on Trustpilot and are members of The Property Ombudsman Scheme (TPOS), offering customers free, independent redress should they feel it is required. We are happy to work with residents groups and positively encourage the creation of these on the developments we are involved with. We believe this opens an effective two-way dialogue between homeowners and ourselves.

As a land-adopting management company, Meadfleet take long-term responsibility of open space, building customer and community relations and implementing perpetual management and improvement plans. We take a holistic and independent approach to managing areas of open space for the benefit of all residents, biodiversity and the wider environment.
