Last week we held another successful educational workshop at a school located in Dishforth, close to one of the developments Meadfleet takes care of.
Our Ecology and Conservation Manager and Regional Manager both attended the school to host the workshop where the children learned all about British wildlife and what they can spot in their local environment. After, the children wrapped up warm and put their gardening gloves on to plant the 200 hedge whips, donated by Meadfleet, on the school grounds which will improve the biodiversity of the area.
A massive thank you to the school for allowing us to attend and help teach, and inspire, the younger generation about the great outdoors!
