Meadfleet Month of Giving

During this festive season, Meadfleet has embraced the spirit of giving by participating in several initiatives that support both local and global communities. This Christmas, we’ve been proud to make a positive impact and help those in need.

Shoebox Appeal

We kicked off the season by packing shoeboxes for the Link to Hope Shoebox Appeal, providing essential items to families and elderly individuals in war-torn or poverty-stricken areas of Eastern Europe. These shoeboxes offer much-needed support to those facing difficult choices between food, fuel, and basic necessities, and serve as a reminder that they are not forgotten during challenging times.

Christmas Jumper Day – Save the Children

Next, we celebrated Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save The Children. The funds raised support children in the UK and worldwide by improving maternal and newborn health, reuniting families, and ensuring access to medicine, food, and education. It was a fun way to embrace the Christmas spirit while making a positive impact!

Homeless Charity Support

We also gave back to our local community with a foodbank donation to Feed Up Warm Up, a Hertfordshire-based homeless charity. They offer a safe space for individuals in need to enjoy a hot meal, engage in conversation, and receive practical and emotional support. Their community teams also provide direct aid across Hertfordshire, where it is most needed.

Alongside the above we also supported a range of activities and events across the development we manage. These include donations of hampers, Christmas trees and funding towards a large community Santa event.

As we wrap up a season of giving, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We are happy to work with residents groups and positively encourage the creation of these on the developments we are involved with. We believe this opens an effective two-way dialogue between homeowners and ourselves.
