Community Event – Ampthill Heights

At Meadfleet, we’re committed to fostering strong community connections and bringing people together on our public open spaces. Recently, our Community Fund initiative had the pleasure of supporting a fantastic event at a development we manage in Ampthill. Organised by the residents’ association, the event brought the community together to meet their committee and enjoy some fun activities.

One of the day’s highlights was a bee hotel painting competition that engaged the children of the development. We provided the materials for this creative activity, and the photos from the event show just how much everyone enjoyed expressing their artistic side! These colourful bee hotels will now serve as homes for pollinators. Our Community Fund also contributed a hamper for the raffle, and the ice creams we supplied were a welcome treat in the warm weather.

The event was a great success, with a turnout that exceeded expectations. One resident shared:

“Meadfleet is our housing development management company for residents’ shared outdoor spaces. The resident committee approached Meadfleet to sponsor a ‘Meet the Residents’ Association Committee’ event. They were extremely supportive, providing us with a wonderful hamper as a prize and ice creams for attendees. They also suggested giving us bug houses to decorate. The event was a great success, and we are very grateful for Meadfleet’s support.”

We look forward to supporting more events like this in the future and continuing to invest in the communities that make our developments such wonderful places to live. If you’re part of a community we manage and have an idea for an event or project, we encourage you to reach out to us. For more information, please visit our Community Fund page.
